The energizer bunny of the powder hound pups and named for Nakiska ski hill where Matt was a lifty in the Canadian Rockies after high school. If there is one dog in the yard that can rival Arrow’s intensity, it is this girl. Nakiska is the Queen of the 5-minute nap and then she's ready to rumble, even if it's 20 miles into a midnight training run and the rest of the team is settled in for a rest. Feisty, focused, and completely in control at all times. She led a good portion of our race miles as a rookie 2-year old last winter, and I’m excited to see her confidence build and to see her step up into leading as a seasoned veteran on the race circuit this upcoming season. She’s still young, but the brain on this girl is definitely wired to be a fantastic leader.
