Sweet, strong and utterly devoted. Part of the ‘musician’ crew, and named for one of our favorite musicians Ben Harper (originally named Packer of the NFL litter). This girl joined us at age four shortly after we moved to California, and is 100% reliable and happy to play with everyone. She thoroughly enjoys free roaming in the woods and will demolish any squeaky toy within reach. Prior to retirement she was an essential part of the back half of the team, and while she had zero desire to run in lead, she definitely ‘led’ by example in wheel or team position by showing the young dogs what a strong work and unfailing drive looks like. She now enjoys the free-running ultra marathon life with her new humans in Truckee and can be found chasing squirrels along the local trails, or enjoying the couch life. Happy retirement Harper!
